Information for Exhibitors

The Northwest Market Association shows provide a one-stop shopping experience for over 300 Pacific Northwest retailers, showcasing footwear, apparel and accessories in the comfortable, attractive setting of the Embassy Suites hotel.  Sales representatives also enjoy the convenience of working with new and existing customers without the added expense of going on the road.  The Suites amenities of a complimentary buffet breakfast and evening cocktail and snacks offer the opportunity to socialize with buyers and other reps in a more casual environment.

Exhibiting at the NMA shows:

• Suites – These offer the advantage of a display area in the living room and a separate bedroom for sleeping.  Reps can meet more privately with buyers in a comfortable setting.  Standard suites are $119 for the September 2009 show.
• Booths – Located in the ballroom areas of the hotel, booths may be exposed to more traffic.  The cost is $225 for a 10’ x 10’ booth.  There is a limited supply of booth space, so requests for a booth may not be fulfilled.
• Two-Day Show Option – Some exhibitors prefer to show only Saturday and Sunday of the three-day show, checking out Monday morning.  These reps will be assigned rooms on a separate floor so as not to disturb other exhibitors during move-out.  Show fees remain the same, but the exhibitor pays for one less room night.

 

Transportation Information:

For those reps flying into the Portland airport, Portland enjoys an excellent light rail system.  Simply board the MAX train for Beaverton (cost approximately $4) and the Embassy Suites van will pick you up for free at the Beaverton transit station.  (Be sure to have their phone number with you – 503-644-4000.)
